i installed the update using JF, jesus freak right from my phone it was more then 30 MB i think, i had my G1 with root access already aka jailbroken
Remember guys that your update version depends on the company your with. For those like me in australia, we have to root our phones, then install all updates manually(voiding the warranty), while other countries get stuck with modified updates to their phone. Bloody annoying, but google putting your dream/G1 into developer mode and installing a custom rom to learn more on how to fix it. I like that OSK, similar to mine but better i think, going to have to try this new update

I have the cupcake update 1.5 here in USA and its great it changed the phone alot, even the battery life is longer! and yeah i got all does things shown here even though the virtual keyboard is not white like shown in this video, i guess the update is alright, far from perfect since we didnt get stereo bluetooh!! OMG i wanna send music… even my friend with a nokia can send music, but a guy with a G1 can’t? not cool

Reports are saying that the Official Cupcake is being rolled out by T-Mobile in the USA and you should see it hit your phone soon.
